Learn about the virtual design process

  • The client fills out a robust survey, provided by Emily, which serves as a virtual walkthrough of the space and a chance for Emily to get know the clients better. All communication during the process will be done via e-mail.

  • The client will provide an accurate floorplan of the space (usually just something you sketch and snap a photo of to send off), and will take multiple photos of the room.

  • Combine the design vision with the clients wants and needs. Emily will create a project mood board that visually communicates the design goals along with a floorplan with a recommended furniture layout that is to scale. Together, a final budget will be finalized.

  • Implement the design plan by working closely with the client. A design board showing all final product selections will be included as well as links to all of the items suggested for the design. A to-scale furniture floorplan will be included if applicable!

  • The client will have ample opportunity to provide feedback and request changes throughout the design process. Once the design is finalized; a shopping list will be handed off to the client. The client will be responsible for ordering and tracking all items for the design.
